Crossing the border
You can take your car outside the Republic of Ireland only to Northern Ireland. Notice: vehicles cannot be taken outside the island. If you intend to travel outside the country, charges may apply, like: for one-way rentals to Northern Ireland Sixt charges you 155 EUR. There might be also some nuances about international traveling, for instance, Sixt issues a written permission to cross the border and the charge of €29 applies.
Fuel
Pick up and return full or you can pre-purchase fuel. When you rent from Dooley, you can chose either option (min 4 days – pre-purchase; 1 to 3 days – pick up and return full).
